Boutique Camping® tent protective covers not only provide insulation and promote practicality but our covers can also be used as a stand-alone shelter using the centre & a-frame pole set from your tent (or purchased separately). To attach on your tent, you can get away with using the rebar pegs your tents pitched with, however we recommend buying an additional set which you can peg down directly next to the tent's outer pegs. CAN I USE AS A STAND ALONE SHELTER?
Yes, however to erect it you will require the same poles that comes with the tent it's designed for. For example, a Classic Bell Tent cover will need a centre pole, an a-frame pole, and a set of rebar pegs. I HAVE A CLASSIC BELL, CAN I USE ONE OF THE OTHER DESIGN COVERS?
Yes, a Bell Tent Plus cover will fit due the tents having the same dimensions. If you own a Classic Bell tent and want the arched hem aesthetic like the Star Bell, this will achieve this whilst also redirecting rain pour from the tents base. This is the only design that can be swapped for an alternative cover design.
CAN IT BE USED IN CONJUNCTION WITH MY TENT THAT HAS A STOVE INSTALLED?
Due to the covers being made from Oxford (a premium polyester), we do not recommend using with a tent that has a stove in use. Even if you cut a hole around the flue, it will likely cause the cover to melt and cause potential fire risks. Please do feel free to add a cover when the stove is not in use and the flue has been removed.
WILL A COVER PREVENT VENTILATION IN MY TENT?
No, in fact covers have the same vents in the roof's cone as the tent does, so a bug-free breeze will still be able to enter the space in between the tent and cover.
ARE THEY WATERPROOF?
Yes, they are made from a synthetic fabric and 100% waterproof. Rain will naturally bead off the fabric and keep your tent dry.
MY TENT ISN'T FROM BOUTIQUE CAMPING, WILL A BOUTIQUE COVER BE COMPATIBLE?
As the Classic Bell Tent is a design that's pretty universal, if you have already purchased this shape tent from a different camping company, our Classic Bell Tent cover should fit on your tent. Please note, we have not tested this, so purchasing would be at your own discretion.
HOW DO I CLEAN MY TENT COVER?
Tent protector covers are very easy to clean and maintain in general. You can use our Nikwax cleaning agents dedicated to synthetic fabrics, or use some non-toxic household cleaning products and a sponge to tackle mud or dirt, to dry simply dry with a towel.
Do you know if your Boutique cover will work with a White duck Regatta 13 ft? You may know that they do not sell a rain fly.
