What Is a Hot Tent?
A hot tent is a tent used alongside a tent stove or heater. These tents are made designed using polycotton to keep you safe when using a stove inside. Please note: It’s always important to exercise caution around stoves and fire. Ensure you follow any safety instructions provided and use a carbon monoxide alarm in your tent.
Heatproof Mats
If you’re using a tent stove then you need to use the appropriate protection including mats and stove stands. These mats offer a barrier between the stove and the tent floor to prevent any damage to the tent fabric and provide extra stability for your stove.
Inner Insulation
If you want to ensure you stay extra warm and prevent cold air from getting in you can use extra tent accessories for an added layer of protection. Tent rugs and mats will provide a soft layer underfoot that helps keep cold air passing up through the ground, whilst an inner tent can be used when sleeping to create an extra barrier should any cold air enter your tent.
