After years of testing, tweaking, and listening to our customers, we’re excited to introduce the next generation of our Oxford fabric - a brand new blend designed to give campers the best of both worlds: durability and lightness, without the premium price tag or maintenance demands associated with traditional canvas.
This evolution marks a major step forward for our range, and with it comes a decision: we’re retiring our original 100gsm and 230gsm Oxford fabrics. In their place stands our improved hybrid Oxford - meticulously engineered to be stronger, smarter, and more satisfying to live with.

The Evolution of Boutique’s Oxford Fabric: Out With the Old, In With the New
Over the years, our Oxford fabric has been loved for its practicality - lightweight, quick-drying, and extremely user-friendly. But as camping styles have evolved, so have expectations. Today’s glamper wants the convenience of synthetic materials with a more refined, premium feel (and look!).
Our original 100gsm Oxford was ideal for portability: easy to pitch, easy to pack, and perfect for festival-hopping or weekend getaways. On the other hand, the 230gsm version offered enhanced strength and a more substantial feel, but at the cost of weight.
We knew the perfect fabric would combine the strengths of both - and that’s exactly what we’ve achieved... but even better!
By blending the best qualities of our 100gsm and 230gsm textiles, our new and improved Oxford fabric delivers:

The updated weave gives the fabric a cleaner, more modern matte look while retaining its signature flexibility. It still has that soft, easy-to-handle quality that makes pitching a breeze, but with a firmer hand feel that improves shape retention and longevity.
