Selling out our first batch of Nova Air Domes in 2021, we've since made a few improvements, including a stronger central apex for better stability, optional inner tent fittings for a cozier sleep, and window tie-outs for improved ventilation.

To enhance the Nova Air Dome's durability, the fabric has been treated with a UV, rot, and water-repellent agent for longevity. Guy ropes have been replaced with resilient webbing straps, and the eight TPU tubes now have double canvas walls for added protection and reinforced shape.

Like all our tents, the Nova Air Dome comes neatly packed in its bag with attached webbing straps & guy ropes, a detachable groundsheet, a mallet, smooth pegs for the base, rebar pegs for staking out the guy ropes, all structural components, and a spares bag. We've also included a manual pump, but you can upgrade to an electric pump for even faster inflation.

Beim ersten Aufbau kann es bis zu 20 Minuten dauern, den Nova Air Dome aufzubauen, doch je öfter Sie den Vorgang üben, desto schneller geht es … die Experten hier haben es auf 5 Minuten verkürzt! Auch wenn es nicht unbedingt notwendig ist, erleichtert eine zusätzliche helfende Hand den Aufbau des Zeltes, insbesondere wenn etwa 50 % der Befüllung erreicht sind und das Dach von innen sanft nach oben gedrückt werden muss, damit die Luft besser durch die Schläuche strömen kann.

Ja, der Stoff wurde mit einem wasserabweisenden Mittel behandelt, um trockene Abenteuer zu gewährleisten! Beim ersten Aufbau oder auch schon beim Üben im Garten empfiehlt es sich, den Stoff „einzuweichen“. Das Einweichen eines Zeltes (auch als „Einlaufen“ bezeichnet) ist der Vorgang, bei dem das Zelt vor dem eigentlichen Gebrauch Wasser ausgesetzt wird, um den Stoff und die Nähte zu versiegeln. Dies ist besonders wichtig bei Zelten aus Baumwolle und Poly-Baumwolle, da deren Nähte oft winzige Nadelstiche aus der Herstellung aufweisen. Dies ist kein unverzichtbarer Schritt, doch wenn Sie davon ausgehen, dass Ihr Zelt bei einem Abenteuer einem heftigen Regenguss ausgesetzt sein wird, ist es ratsam.

Alle unsere Zelte sind für den Aufbau im Freien konzipiert. Wir haben jedoch beobachtet, dass Kunden versuchen, die Zelte in Innenräumen aufzustellen, indem sie Gewichte und verschiedene schwere Gegenstände verwenden, um den Zeltboden am Boden zu halten und die Gurtbänder zu befestigen. Zu Ihrer Sicherheit und zum Schutz der Zelte raten wir jedoch davon ab.

Ja, das ist möglich. Wir haben bereits gesehen, dass viele unserer Kunden und Fachhändler einen Holzofen in ihrem Zelt installieren. Das Nova Air Dome ist zwar nicht feuerhemmend, besteht jedoch aus einem atmungsaktiven Stoff, der eine Belüftung ermöglicht. Das Zelt ist nicht mit einer Ofenklappe ausgestattet, sodass Sie diese selbst anbringen müssen. Der Vorteil dabei ist jedoch, dass Sie den Ofen an einer beliebigen Stelle im Zelt aufstellen können. Wie das geht, sehen Sie hier. Bitte achten Sie darauf, das richtige Zubehör zu besorgen: Einbau-Set, Hitzeschutzmatte und einen Kohlenmonoxidmelder.

Das beschleunigt natürlich den Aufbauprozess und gönnt Ihren Armen zudem eine kleine Verschnaufpause. Achten Sie einfach darauf, dass der Druck zwischen 8 und 10 PSI liegt (egal ob manuell oder elektrisch)!
