Polgreen Glamping offers cool camping based in gorgeous Cornwall next to the North Coast. Glamorous camping at its best… Think amazing countryside, endless nearby beaches, getting back to nature, beautiful bell tents, real beds and cosy comforts. Sound good? Then it’s time to try out Polgreen Glamping. This is camping with all that’s great about the Great British outdoors without the tears. We are not a traditional campsite, in fact we don’t really think of ourselves as a campsite at all. This is wilderness camping with added luxury. This is your chance to experience a welcome stay (no more ‘get off my land’) in a beautiful and natural place. With only six pitches our emphasis is on a great holiday for a lucky few.
All of our bell tents are the larger 5 metre variety and are a palace for 2 or a comfortable home from home for a family. They each have a real double bed, a double futon, duvet and pillows and blankets or quilts. The tents have cosyrugs, colourful vintage bunting, a coffee table and wind up lanterns and tea lights making your bell tent a gorgeous retreat. We provide a gas cooking stove and outdoor BBQ with fuel to get you started and with a salad patch and herb pots at hand, our small on site honesty ‘shop’ and a great organic farm shop a stroll away there is everything you need to cook up a fantastic feast. There’s no need to worry about packing the kitchen sink as we have that covered along with everything from pots and pans to crockery and cutlery and even a vintage tea set. Outside your bell tent you have a private picnic bench or you are welcome to use the central dining canopy and chill out bell tent as you wish.
Set on a small farm of almost 40 acres the ‘glampsite’ sits in a tree fringed valley field next to the North coast of Cornwall. The farm is a unique environment for this area ranging from wetlands to wooded valleys all within reach of the beach, a potent mix for diverse wildlife and nature which we are sure you will enjoy. Spot deer, rare horseshoe bats, barn and tawny owls and other interesting birds. Discover otter and badger tracks around the site or head to the sea for a chance to sight dolphins, porpoises and whales. As a working farm there is loads to keep you entertained just outside your bell tent; feed the pigs, meet the ducks or simply say hello to the sheep. There are lots of activities that you are welcome to join in with (or not if you simply want to relax!).
