With bank holidays, sunshine and exciting adventures on the horizon, we’re here to help you make the most of it all! From our favourite activities to top campsite picks, this is our go - to guide for bringing the ultimate Easter vibes to your Spring.

Step 1 - Campsites

Having an incredible BC community means we’ve had the privilege of connecting with amazing people who own fantastic campsites and host our BC tents. Through our trade awards and years of building relationships with our trade customers, we can confidently say these are some of the best family-friendly campsites to visit this Easter!

Aldenham farm

Aldenham Country Park, located near Elstree in Hertfordshire, is a 175-acre countryside escape featuring a historic reservoir, farm experiences, and family-friendly attractions. Enjoy a visit to the onsite farm where you can meet and play with the animals, take part in feeding sessions and explore their 100 Aker Wood!

Stay in a ready-made BC tent, pitch your own, or enjoy a day trip to visit the farm. With its perfect mix of nature, outdoor recreation and family-friendly fun, it’s the ideal spot for an unforgettable adventure.

Fallow Fields

One of our Trade Tour nominees! We had the pleasure of visiting Fallow Fields last summer and were truly impressed by the range of activities offered for children. With options including bushcraft workshops, archery, film nights and a play barn, it’s a safe and exciting place for kids to explore and have fun.

Guests can choose from beautifully styled Boutique Camping Classic Bell Tents, opt for unfurnished options, or bring their own setup. With an onsite shop, bar and regular pizza nights, it’s the perfect spot for a memorable family adventure.

This family-friendly haven blends shabby chic style with modern comforts—think handmade crochet accents paired with practical touches like USB phone-charging points.

Step 2 - Packing

Prepare for your trip with our Family Fun Camping Checklist. It covers everything from essential gear and outdoor activities to meal planning and campsite must-haves. Stay organised and make sure you’re ready for a smooth and enjoyable family camping experience.

Step 3 - Activities

National Trust Easter Trails

Many National Trust sites across the UK are celebrating Easter with their own Easter Egg trails. These trails feature fun challenges, nature-inspired clues, and, of course, a sweet reward at the end.

Whether you're camping nearby or just looking for a fun day out, check if there’s a trail near you. It’s a great way to explore beautiful landscapes and keep the kids entertained.

Geocaching

Have you tried Geocaching yet? You’re missing out if not! Geocaching is a real-world treasure hunt using GPS coordinates to find hidden containers, called geocaches, placed by other adventurers. These caches can be found in cities, parks, forests and even remote locations.

To get started, download a geocaching app or use a GPS device to find nearby caches.  Choose a geocache, embark on a treasure hunt to find it, or even start your own. Don’t forget to bring a small souvenir to swap in the treasure box!

Nature Inspired Activities

Make the camping trip or walk even more exciting by going on a wildlife scavenger hunt! If you haven’t checked out our latest Spring Wildlife Spotting Guide, now’s the time!

Create your own nature checklist with things like birds, bugs, flowers, and animal tracks - then see how many you can find during your adventure. It’s a great way to connect with nature, keep the whole family engaged and discover the hidden wonders around your campsite.

No kids for a few days? Escape with your partner to these romantic nature getaways:

Lazy T

The Lazy T is a wild glamping getaway nestled in the stunning North York Moors National Park. This hidden gem offers a peaceful escape far from the hustle and bustle of city life. With two beautifully positioned Nova Air Dome tents and two cabin cottages sat beside the running stream, from just £149 a night guests can unwind and reconnect with nature in a tranquil valley setting, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes.

Stonepit meadows

Soaking up the charm of Kent, known as the "Garden of England," we made our way to the ever-charming Stonepit Meadows - a cozy, family-run glamping site with two Shepherds Huts and three of our Bell Tent plus' that start from £105 a night. Tucked away on a 40-acre farm, the land now grows vines for the award-winning Chapel Down winery. The meadows are a wildflower haven, with three peaceful ponds for you to have a wild swim in that's also home to ducks, moorhens, and coots, plus access to enchanting ancient woodland.

As you plan your Easter camping adventure, we hope this guide helps you discover some fantastic sites, exciting activities, and helpful packing tips to make the most of your time outdoors. Whether you’re staying at one of our favorite family-friendly campsites, embarking on an Easter egg trail, or exploring nature through geocaching and wildlife spotting, there's no shortage of fun to be had. Happy camping!
