get to know your Phoenix tent

Bij Boutique Camping zijn onze tenten voorzien van diverse voorzieningen die met de grootste zorg zijn ontworpen om uw momenten in de buitenlucht nog aangenamer te maken. Hoe beter u deze voorzieningen leert kennen, hoe leuker en comfortabeler uw kampeeravontuur zal zijn.

grondvoorbereiding en perfecte plaatsing

toonhoogteperfectie bereiken:

- Zorg ervoor dat je kampeerplek vlak en zonder oneffenheden is; oneffen oppervlakken of heuveltoppen kunnen te veel ongelijkmatige spanning veroorzaken en tot schade leiden.

- Zet je tent niet onder bomen op, tenzij je een tentbeschermhoes of -overkapping hebt.

- Door uw tent op een grondzeilbeschermer op te zetten, krijgt u niet alleen houvast bij het opzetten van uw tent, maar beschermt u ook het grondzeil tegen vuil, water en condensatie.

- Sluit alle deuren met de rits voordat u de haringen vastzet.

- Knikken en plooien in de stof duiden erop dat de spanning in de tent ongelijkmatig is en kunnen leiden tot schade. Zorg er bij het opzetten van uw tent voor dat de stokken recht staan en dat de scheerlijnen dienovereenkomstig zijn afgesteld.

- De rits van het grondzeil moet worden afgedekt en verborgen door de tentrok.

zodra het online staat:

- Controleer regelmatig of de haringen stevig vastzitten en niet los zijn geraakt; dit is vooral belangrijk na regenachtig weer, omdat de grond dan zacht wordt.

- Lucht uw tent dagelijks om de ventilatie te verbeteren. Dit kunt u doen door de deuren en ramen te openen (en indien van toepassing) het grondzeil open te ritsen en de zijkanten op te rollen.

- Als u vlekken, vuil of schimmelplekken ziet, pak deze dan meteen aan om te voorkomen dat het probleem vlekken veroorzaakt of zich verspreidt.

waterdichting en lekkagepreventie:

- De eerste keer dat je tent aan hevige regen wordt blootgesteld, kun je – hoewel dit onwaarschijnlijk is – kleine lekjes rond de naden van de tentdoek ontdekken. Maak je geen zorgen, dit is normaal!

- Zodra het volledig is opgedroogd, krimpt het katoen vanzelf en worden eventuele gaatjes gedicht, zodat uw tent volledig waterdicht wordt.

- Om dit tijdens uw kampeeravontuur helemaal te voorkomen, kunt u de tent (indien mogelijk) in uw tuin opzetten en met een tuinslang natspuiten.

how to pitch a phoenix tent

Volg de onderstaande stappen om je Classic Bell Tent perfect op te zetten!

stap één

1a. Unpack your tent + lay it out with the groundsheet floor facing.

1b. Make sure the ground is flat + free from sharp objects.

1c. Find one of the doors + rotate to face the desired direction.

stap twee

2a. Ensuring that the fabric is taut,
starting with the corners of the tent,
peg down the groundsheet with the x16
smooth pegs supplied.

stap drie

3a. Assemble the centre pole and locate the cone inside of the tent, then push the pole up vertically until straight and centred floor to roof.

3b. Make sure the end of the pole with the
integrated loop is at the top.

stap vier

4a. Locate and assemble all colour coded(red and yellow) flexi poles.

4b. On each corner of the tent, you will find
colour coded sleeves for the flexi poles.

4c. To start, grab a red flexi pole and start
threading through the red sleeve, this will
become your canopy.

stap vijf

5a. Fit the ends of the red flexi pole onto the
correct pins at the corners of the tent
(one is for red, and the other is for yellow).

5b. Repeat this process for the yellow coded flexi pole and sleeve (on the same section of the tent as the red that you have just completed)

stap zes

Ensure the guy ropes are not tangled underneath the flexi poles after clipping the pins in. If they are, unclip the pins and release the guy ropes as shown.

REPEAT STEPS 5-8 FOR THE
REMAINING X3 CANOPIES!

stap zeven

Next, peg out the x2 guy ropes that are
positioned above the centre of the tent
doors, and repeat for all sides of the tent.

Ropes should be approx. 1.5m-2m in length.

stap acht

At each corner of the tent, unravel
the guy rope, adjust to desired length
and peg down the x4 guy ropes.

Lastly, peg down the x8 remaining guy ropes.

Once you have pegged down all guy ropes,
check for uneven tension around the tent
and adjust accordingly.

packing and storing your phoenix tent

Het is van CRUCIAAL BELANG dat u uw tent pas opbergt als deze kurkdroog is. Als u uw tent opbergt terwijl deze nog vochtig of nat is, kan er schimmel ontstaan. Dit kan leiden tot aantasting van het tentdoek. Het is prima om uw tent af te breken terwijl deze nog nat is. U MOET er echter voor zorgen dat u deze binnen 48 uur ophangt om te drogen.

Dit kunt u doen door de tent aan een waslijn (of iets dergelijks) te hangen en hem aan de lucht te laten drogen. Door het grondzeil van de tent te scheiden, verloopt dit proces sneller.

Berg uw tent op een droge plaats op, vrij van vocht en overmatige condensatie. Wij raden aan om hem op een hoge plek te plaatsen, uit de buurt van knaagdieren!

stap één

1a. Verwijder alle wasknijpers; je kunt dit met je handen doen, met een wasknijperverwijderaar of zelfs met een andere wasknijper.

1b. Als de haringen vuil zijn, maak ze dan schoon voordat je ze terug in de zak stopt.

1c. Haal de tentstokken uit de tent en maak ze indien nodig schoon en droog ze af met een handdoek.

1d. Leg het tentdoek op het grondzeil en zorg dat het niet in contact komt met het gras of de grond.

2a. Without standing on the canvas, fold then tent in half + back on itself.

2b. Your tent should now resemble a half square shape.

stap drie

3a. Bring the edge back on itself so that you are left with a square.

3b. Then, fold it in half lengthways.

stap vier

4a. Rol de tent strak naar voren en strijk deze ondertussen glad en laat eventuele luchtbellen ontsnappen.

4b. Zodra u klaar bent, gebruikt u de riemen om de opgerolde tent vast te zetten en plaatst u deze terug in de meegeleverde tentzak.

Cleaning & reproofing your phoenix tent

To remove any dirt, light marks or mud off your tent you will need to pitch it before cleaning. Your tent will have a generous coating of our water, rot and UV repelling agent. Over time, as a result of heavy use or testing environments, your tent fabric may require a second coating to revive breathability and resistance to the elements. This can be done by using a garden spray to apply the following agents: 'nikwax tent and gear solarwash' or 'nikwax cotton proof'.
